That's Life!
Did you ever realize that sometimes, people come into our lives just when we need them, and once we have grown enough with them, we move on? I realized the other day that this is something that happens in many stages of life. I remember this happening at the beginning of high school, where I was friends with certain people in the first year or two, but by senior year, I was no longer friends with them- I had found the people that were my true friends. This pattern seems to be repeating itself in college as well, but at a much quicker pace! Just the other day, I realized how I was friends with certain people in the first semester that I am not really that close to anymore. In the first semester, they served their purpose- they helped me to get adjusted to college, to have people to eat in the cafeteria with and to walk to class with. But now, I see that their presence has dwindled, and I have other friends that have come into my life. Why does this happen? I think it's because everyone needs a few friends to get by on within the first few months of school. Those friends are the "trial run" friends- they are the stepping stone to help you eventually find your real friends. And honestly, that's just life! It happens all the time! And it will keep happening over and over again in all stages of life. So don't worry when one set of friends comes and goes, and then another group of friends finds their way into your life. Just embrace each new change and adapt accordingly. You will find your way, I promise!
