The Days are Numbered...

As the days go by, I can't help but realize that this year, my freshman year of college, is almost over. There is not much time left between now and the start of... oh yes.... SUMMER VACATION! I really cannot wait for summer, mostly because I think I deserve a nice long break after how hard I've worked all year, not to mention I will love spending more than just a weekend at home with my family. It is going to be wonderful to have absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to be, no meetings, appointments, tests, papers, projects, etc. Just me, at home, with my family, all together. If you can't tell, I can't contain my excitement! And what's strange is that it's almost sad that this year is already over. I frequently think about move-in day, and that overwhelming feeling of the unknown that walked with me wherever I went. I think about how my roommate was an stranger to me, how I had no idea who my teachers were or how to get to their classes, or what to even expect from their classes. It seems to have all happened in a second. It truly is unbelieveable that it basically is over already. I guess in reflecting on this, I just want to give this piece of advice to all those who have decided on a college and will be starting in the fall: enjoy your time. Don't focus on what's stressing you or what's not going right. Just breathe and hope for the best. Just do what you are capable of and move forward. Because in the end, everything will fall into place, the pieces will come together, and all will be well. That's all for today, folks!
