We have officially hit the midpoint of summer 2014, the month of July. July is such a great month because it is in July that all students are surely out of school. School has ended in June and may begin again in August. But July is completely reserved for you to have fun!
And in this month, there are so many happy things to do: there is National Ice Cream Day (yes, this is a real thing! To me, everyday is National Ice Cream Day, but in case you want to celebrate, it's July 20th this year), there are vacations to go on, pools to jump in, BBQs to be had, and the list goes on and on.
But the one thing that I think I love more than anything about July, and summer in general, is that everyone is pretty much happy. There is no stress from school, schedules to stick to, or homework to do; you can pretty much do as you please. And this is what is so great: you can do as much or as little as you want to do!
So while you have the time, try to stop and appreciate the simplicity of a mid-summer day. Think of all the things that you have done or are going to do this summer that you could not have done during the school year and be grateful for those experiences. Appreciate the nice weather and the carefree attitude, and go out and enjoy it all as much as you can. I know I will!
Until next time,
That Summer Lovin' University Girl
