The past week or so has been full of so many emotions and events, I can't even keep up with them! I've seen college graduations, been to a few graduation parties, and helped induct some high school graduates into the school's alumnae association. It's so hard for me to believe that so many people close to me are moving on to the next phase of their lives already. But at the same time, this week has been a great week for self reflection.
Seeing these people moving up and moving on made me realize yet again how quickly time marches on. While we are all out there living life, getting caught up in our day to day routines, we are quite silently getting older, moving on to another stage of life.
What this week has shown me was to appreciate every single day as it is happening, something that is hard to do and something that I haven't always done in the past. But when you see someone graduate college or see someone about to graduate from high school, and you realize that someday soon you too will be graduating college (and not too long ago you graduated from high school), you realize the significance of each day and the rapidity of time.
Well, that's all for today! Sorry it was a short post- being on summer vacation from school takes away all of the juicy material that being on a college campus gives me! I hope you enjoyed my post anyway!
